[MàJ] Ca y est, la décision a été prise il y a quelques minutes et les admins ont décidé de faire les finales EPS online. Encore sous le choc, aucune date n'a été donnée surtout qu'en ce moment il y a les qualifications IEM… C'est un très gros coup pour les organisateurs ASUS et ESL certes, mais aussi un très gros coup pour les visiteurs puisque le stand Asus était l'un des plus animés du gaming dans cette ComicCon.

 

 

 

Si hier les finales semblaient très bien parties avec très peu de retard au final, en arrivant ce matin nous avons constaté que le bilan final pourrait être beaucoup plus négatif que cela. Cependant ici, ce ne sera aucunement de la faute des admins. En effet, remarquant que le stand ASUS n'était pas animé mais surtout qu'il y avait la police juste devant, nous sommes allé questionner MortiS, qui gère le tournoi avec l'aide de quelques autres acolytes. Nos doutes ont été confirmés, plusieurs PC portables ont été volés pendant la nuit. Mais alors en quoi cela empêcherait le bon déroulement des EPS ? Et bien comme vous le savez désormais, les EPS se jouent dans le stand ASUS. Or, lorsqu'il y a vol, ou du moins dans ce cas précis, la police a été appelée pour prélever toutes les empreintes nécessaires afin de retrouver les personnes ayant volé les ordinateurs.

 

Le carré ASUS malheureusement bien vide...

 

Il faut maintenant réfléchir aux conséquences que pourraient avoir ce vol de PC. A l'heure où nous écrivons ces lignes, il est totalement impossible de déterminer à quelle heure les matchs vont reprendre, ni même s'ils vont reprendre. Alors est-ce qu'on se dirigerait vers des finales des EPS online ? C'est ce que veulent absolument éviter les admins… Il faut aussi pensez qu'à côté de ces EPS il y a les WCG et là aussi les joueurs sont attendus. Ces péripéties viennent donc mettre à mal un tournoi qui promettait de bonnes choses pour aujourd'hui. Nous tacherons de vous tenir au courant dans les plus brefs délais des décisions qui seront prises dans la journée.

On m'a dit que le stand était l'un des plus animés et réussis du côté gaming. Dommage que ce soit gaché.

C'est pas surveillé par des caméras ce genre d'évènements ?
Ca m'étonne qu'on arrive à voler des PC comme ça, surtout 12 (dixit esfr) c'est énorme, soit les mecs étaient nombreux et donc pas discrets soit ils ont pris tout leur temps.. Oo

Il faudrait installer des logiciels dans les PCs pour les retrouver ensuite ou y mettre une balise GPS.. :/

En effet étonnant que 12 PC puissent être volés, les spectateurs on accès aux stand de nuit ou bien c'est forcément l’œuvre de joueurs sur place ? Après si le stand n'est pas animé de nuit, autant ranger le matos, surtout du portable c'est assez simple et rapide...

Ben ouais mais justement d'où l'intérêt des caméras... Enfin ça m'étonnerait que un joueur ou un spectateur puisse repartir incognito avec 12 pc portables flambant neufs donc ce serait plutot qqun d'un staff quelconque qui peut rester plus tard que les autres non ?

  • PodBlake: Pour répondre @TwisterXPS et @WellingtoN25g, il devait y avoir un vrai coverage de CS. Cependant le rédacteur CS qui devait être présent n'as pas pu se rendre à la Japan expo suite à des problèmes de santé. Nous avons donc pas pu suivre le live WCG.fr !
